10 Valentine's Day Ideas To Stay On A Budget Adult & Children Friendly

Valentine's Day Ideas....
It's that time of the year again and you are wonder what do I do, where do I go? No problem, I've got you covered!! If you are ever out of ideas the best place to look is Pinterest they always have exciting new ideas. If you have never used Pinterest before it is really easy just get an account ( it is free) and they will explain everything to you. I thought that I would find ideas on Pinterest and then alter them a little bit to fit my personality and make them more fun for my readers. I hope you all enjoy and get your creative brain juices working....

If You Are Ballin' On A Budget These Next 20 Date Ideas Are For You!!
1. Movie & Desert With A Twist:
If you live somewhere warm this is for you! Set up a movie theater in your backyard, barn etc.. wherever you can. Put up a sheet and set up a projector to make it feel as if you stepped back in time. If you are ambitious you can even set up a table as if you are dining in a movie theater only, it is in the comfort of your own home. Pay a buddy, sibling, or family member to serve you or make it buffet style at the table. If you are somewhere warm you can set up a picnic blanket. Set up his or her favorite old movie and watch it together. This is great for almost all ages!!

1. If you have children and want to plan something with them then don't worry I have an idea for you!! You can do the same thing just a little more child friendly. You can set up tents in the living room or backyard and pretend that you are camping. Except this camping has the perks of being right near or in your house!! Set up a movie the whole family will enjoy... Before hand have your children involved in the whole process. You can set up crafts throughout the week as hints and the night before have them make special snacks, and decorations. The more they are involved the more they will enjoy the experience. For ages 4-9/10, there is really no limit , but your teenager is probably not going to want to spend Valentine's Day the same way as you so, just keep that in mind.

2. Bowling!! You're thinking OMG that has been done before and I want to make this bowling special... So, this may be more for children, but you can make your own bowling alley in or outside your house. Make the pins filled with fun things for children or your date. This is also, cute as a proposal making the pins Valentine's Day themed and put little hints, notes, pictures etc.. and in one special pin the ring will be in for you to propose. Of course make the game exciting and memorable, but it sounds like an original and cute idea.

3. Spa night!!! Get together with friends and have everyone bring over a snack, their favorite spa DIY, and a little spa gift. This is perfect if you are single or unable to spend Valentine's Day with your loved one.

3. Spa night!!! For little girls spa night could be such a magical fun night!! Have some spa stations set up and the girls get all get pampered and dolled up. Afterwards have little spa treats and a perfect movie to go along with it.

4. Concert?! Yes, a concert, but not one you have to drive to. Turn your backyard or living room into a dance floor. Depending upon what kind of music you both like you can get some old strobe lights, fog machine, disco ball, or romantic light setting. Of course this is probably creepy if it is your very first time meeting this person so, just remember to use your common sense. If you have known your loved one for a while and know what music he or she likes and they love to dance, this is the perfect setting. You can always combine your at home concert with dinner. Make a playlist of both of your favorite songs and end the night with "your couple song."

4. Children love to bust a move so, throw on some kid friendly tunes and watch them dance the night away. If they get tired which they will have them make a craft, or decorate their own dessert.

5. This is only adult friendly, but I can make this teenager and child friendly. First, the adult version wine tasting... Wine tasting can be a lot of fun when their is more than two people. Make it a friends wine tasting night and have all your friends bring a bottle of their favorite wine and snack that will go perfectly with their choice of wine. Have a little tasting section for all of your friends wine and snacks with their names and a little background on their wine and snack choice. This could be a great conversation starter for a singles event or couples event.

5. Teenagers: I am talking between the ages of 12-15 after that they will probably not think this is as cool. Have a fun party at your house and have none alcoholic wine and beer. Have your friends bring a fun snack from a different country. This could be really fun because your palette can be open to new flavors, and textures. It could be a really fun evening.

5. Children: This is super cute and I'm sure parents with get a kick out of juice tasting. Have each child bring their favorite juice and snack that they can share with all of their friends. Make sure to have some games and crafts ready because unlike the adults children will not talk about the origin of their juice. They just wan to play and hangout with their friends.

6. Make a themed dress party with your friends and dance away to the music of that era. Eat the food from the time and try to speak the lingo.

7. If you like poetry readings create your own to read to each other and sip some tea and coffee while listening as if, you were in a cafĂ©. Mix in some other ideas and make it a fun and romantic date.

8. If you are stuck in the cold like I am and miss the warm summer sun make a picnic. Decorate the room as if you were in a park with the blanket and picnic basket full of delicious goodies.

9. Have an old-fashioned date outside in the snow: Snow Ball Fights, Sleighing, and fire to warm you up after.

10. Turn Heat Up High: Just For an hour or two sweat it out like you are in the tropics with your heat raised high and your bathing suits on. If you miss the hot summer days make your whole date night Hawaiian Themed!!

I hope you enjoyed this Valentine's Day themed post!! This post was inspired by Pinterest, but modified to my style. Thank you for reading.

Valentine's Vegan Friendly Fondue With The Fam

Ciao Tutti,

Yesterday's vlog was all about fondue and vegan friendly. I just learned that some marshmallows have gelatin in them so I will list some vegan friendly options below. Fondue is so fun for children as well as adults, it can help bring your family together. Fondue is always a favorite at parties. Here are some vegan friendly fondue options so everyone can enjoy the party!!!

Where To Buy:

Vegan Marshmallows:

Vegan Chocolate:

We didn't have these options so we used semi-sweet chocolate so I will have to try these milkless chocolates considering I hated dark chocolate and the bitter taste. My favorite chocolate used to be milk chocolate so, I need to fins substitute for it because I love chocolate. Chocolate is one thing I don't want to give up! I am going to try milkless chocolate and I will do a review on each bar. I hope it will be yummy!!

Fondue:

Add semi-sweet chocolate
Add Water

Melt Coconut Sugar over the stove and then add to fondue to taste

If your chocolate tastes good without it then there is no need to add coconut sugar.

Choose what kind of fruits or sweets you want to dip into the fondue. I chose to dip heart shaped bananas, strawberries, and marshmallows.

Hope you all are enjoying my Valentine's Day themed blogs and vlogs!! I have some exciting and fun blog posts and vlogs coming up so, make sure to stay tuned!
